About Me

Hi, I’m Mel – a perimenopause coach and nurse dedicated to helping women navigate the challenges of perimenopause, especially those struggling with anxiety. My mission is to empower women to face their fears head-on, embrace their strengths, and unlock hidden talents they never knew they had. Together, we can turn this transformative phase of life into an opportunity for growth, confidence, and self-discovery.

Allow me to reintroduce myself! I’m a perimenopause coach & nurse. In March 2024, I resigned from my post as an NHS specialist nurse & wellbeing coach because I felt I needed to do more for women going through the early stages of menopause as I myself was experiencing symptoms. I knew I had a bigger purpose but not sure what I was going to do. I let go and surrendered, trusting the process, following my intuition and letting my spirit guide me.

 

It was one of the best years but also very challenging walking around like a headless chicken trying to work out who I am and what am I going to do. I’ve learnt lots of lessons, faced my fears and shed parts of me I no longer need. I have been lucky to have the support of lots of fabulous mentors, coaches and been part of a women’s entrepreneur program.

 

On this journey I’ve realised a lot about myself, the first, I had a fear of being seen. Then I also realised who I truly am. 3 years ago my son was diagnosed with autism and ADD. The more I read about ADD I thought wow that’s me! It had a lot of answers for why I’ve been the way I am over the years. It’s only been these past few months I’ve realised I’m autistic too. I’m going through the perimenopause, and I can no longer mask anymore! Over the years people have called me weird, crazy, too much, thought I’m rude or blunt etc. I’ve always tried to be “normal” and blend in. But we are not here to blend in, we are here to live fully and authentically, be our true self!

 

So, no more hiding from me! I’ve been co-creating with the universe, and I now have clarity of who I really am, what my purpose is, and I’m really excited for the future.
